At the mediation network we keep our fees simple, clear and transparent.
These are the fees we charge for each step in the mediation process and the typical total costs. All fees are inclusive of GST and apply to mediations commenced in the 2023-24 financial year.

Invitation process - $250
Pre-mediation appointments - $450
Joint mediation sessions
Half-day - $1,000 per person
Full-day - $1,700 per person
Typical total cost - lawyer assisted
(includes pre-mediation appointments)
Half-day - $1,450 per person
Full-day - $2,150 per person
Typical total cost - without lawyers
Parenting issues only - $1,450 per person
(includes pre-mediation appointments & 1 joint session)
Financial issues only - $2,450 per person
(includes pre-mediation appointments & 2 joint sessions)
Parenting & financial issues - $3,800 per person
(Includes pre-mediation appointments, 3 joint sessions and 1 hour additional pre-mediation appointment (if required))
Extras
Additional work (as agreed) - $350 per hour
Travel - by negotiation
Cancellation fees - 50% of fees for cancelled session
(joint mediation sessions only)
Room hire fees - by negotiation
